Today, beauty bunnies, I have for you a lovely jubbly little compact item. I loooooove items that are housed in compact little packaging type things that can be easily transported and multi-purpose. This is the new Sleek Corrector and Concealer Palette in 03 (which I'm guessing is medium?!), which has in it a corrector for under the eyes which neutralises dark circles, then a skin-tone coloured concealer, to return normal colouring back to the under-eye area, and then a really gorgeous yellow setting powder which seals all your good work into lock down!
The corrector and concealer are super duper creamy and easy to blend, light as a feather, and soft to the touch, and the powder is ultra-fine. The coverage is just beautiful, and the entire combination lasts the entire day. I super LOVE this product - I have been reticent in general to use under-eye concealers due to their tendency to crease, and to feel heavy under the eye, but Sleek has pulled off a little victory for themselves with this!
Today I have for you a Nail of the Day - a very red, very glittery nail of the day. But the title of this post may be sliggggggggghtly misleading. I didn't really choose this combination to be festive. I just love glitter!
The colour underneath is Model's Own Red Alert, which is a creme formula, and a dream to use. The top coat is Model's Own Scarlet Sparkle which used to be a complete nightmare to apply, but as it's gotten older, now applies pretty darn well! So far, this combo has been on my nails for 2 days, but from experience, I find Model's Own last at least a week in perfect condition, often moving towards the two week mark!
Absolutely beautiful, the glitter is even more apparent in real life, and I don't have to worry about my nails for at least a week!
Today I bring you some absolutely fabulous finds - so fabulous in fact that for once, this collection includes my own items, my sister's items, and items of my mother's! This kind of solidarity in a product has only ever occurred with the fabulous Liquid Gold, and never, never, never with any other product! So, here is our combined Kate Moss collection:
The Kate Moss lipsticks are by far the best on the high street - I would even go as far as to say that I prefer them to Mac lipsticks. Rich in colour, bold pigment, and super, super soft and moisturising on the lips - even the matte finishes! The colour range is amazing, as you can see our collection goes from light nude, through to dark nude, to vibrant red, burgundy, and then a vampy plum. Each colour comes translates perfectly to the lips, and is a dream to wear. The dark red can be seen on my latest Face of the Day here, and like I say in that post, it literally lasted on me ALL DAY!
All in all, the best lipsticks I've come across in quite a while - they cater for a wide range of skin tones, and I am so impressed that I think I'll be going back for the hot pink, number 20!
I am a fanatical sunblock user when it comes to my lovely face. The Sun (or its UVA and UVB rays) is THE BIGGEST contributor to ageing with most people. The Sun - which I adore - can create, and then worsen pigmentation, add to the production of wrinkles, and as a lot of people know, can cause burning, which can lead to a larger risk of skin cancer. So, being a slight hypochondriac at times, I slap on the old sunscreen like nobody's business.
I actually contacted Steph at La Roche Posay in need of a new SPF as my old Factor 90 Heliocare was running out. Now, I love the Heliocare due to it's beautiful peachy smell, and its gel texture, combined with a slight hint of colour which never leaves the complexion ashy. Steph recommended to me the Vichy Dry Touch Mattifying Face Fluid SPF30, which I have to say is more than satisfying my SPF needs.
I generally tend to mix it into my moisturiser, as I prefer layering on just one cream as opposed to patting an SPF on top of my normal moisturiser, and I find this system works a treat. The Vichy is extremely good at it's job - when smoothed onto an area of skin, it takes a couple of seconds to sink in, and is then literally undetectable, leaving the skin with a matte finish.
Throughout the day it doesn't contribute to any oiliness, and aids my mattifying moisturiser to further mattify skin. Of course, as with all oily skins, oil does peek through throughout the day, but the SPF hasn't meant that this happens any sooner. I really love this SPF, so much that for once, my fickle self will not be fickle, and will use up the WHOLE bottle before I even try another SPF!
Very tiny post today. Warm Radiance is my colour. This is a multitasker. Highlights cheekbones. Bronzes the face slightly. Or, my new fave way of wearing it - mixed with my normal foundations to create a dewier, glowier base. Perfection for winter.
When it comes to lip colour, I'm trying to be a little more "out there". Sometimes a colourful lip can make me feel uncomfortable, so I'm leaning towards lippies with an undetectable texture, and this Kate Moss one definitely fits the bill. A dark ruby red, with a satin-type finish, it lasts literally for hours, and feels sooooo comforting on the lips. So much so that I rocked this look for the WHOLE day. Unheard of in my books!

Today I want to share with you a little stash of products I picked up from the Look Beauty stand in Superdrug. Normally £4, they were on offer for £2 each! I'm not going to do a lot of talking - all you really need to know is they are FABULOUS. I'll let the pictures do the talking!
I really recommend that you have a gander at these next time you're in superdrug (p.s. the brown makes a brilliant contour colour, and the pink a lovely blush!)
